“Just peeking in” to see if it’s done is the exposure. How to air out a room after an ozone machine
- Let the machine finish and switch off, ideally on a timer so no one has to walk in.
- Open the room to outdoor air: windows and doors, plus exhaust fans that vent outside.
- Keep people, pets, and plants out while it airs out.
- Wait until the smell is completely gone, then keep ventilating a while longer.
